I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. — Galatians 1:6-7

Just the other day, a photo was shared with me. In the photo, it shared a picture of someone writing a letter. The words in that letter were not legible, but that wasn’t the point. The image was one designed to leave you with a thought, and the words on the front certainly did that.

The words read, if Paul could see the church in America, we would be getting a letter. How true those words really are. My mind instantly went back to these verses in Galatians. Paul was writing to the church, and he marveled at how fast they moved away from God, perverting the gospel of Christ.

That is certainly what we see happening in front of us today. The world would like us to call evil good and good evil. There is a strong push to make Christians accepting of all things, specifically, sins that the Bible is so clear about. If you read through all of Paul’s letters, there was never an intention for the church to be this way.

God has called us to a life of separation. That’s separation from sin and separation from the wickedness of this world. He did not call us to be like the world. Scripture teaches us that we are to be transformed from the world and set apart.

As we reflect today, are we living a life separated to the things of God? Are the people around us able to tell the difference between us and those living in sin? While others may want us to compromise, we must be committed to living for God and living a life separated from the things of this world.

Across the world, there are Christians that need encouragement and strength that only God’s word can provide. We are focused on helping Christians find encouragement, develop stronger relationships with God, and helping non-Christians come to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. As a non-profit ministry, Another Well Ministries relies on donations to continue our work. You can find out more about us and ways to support us here.
