As bad as the days may be for us here, nothing compares to how we are blessed by God!
We should not be so focused on the attention of others that we forget it is God we serve.
Don’t be upset if you don’t fit into the popular crowd. Don’t be upset if people of this world say you are different. Because you are! You are peculiar!
Before we end up in trouble, we have a choice. It really comes down to who says “enough is enough” first. Us or God.
Our hope should be that others would think of our passion for Jesus as I did this person, and want to ask us “What’s the big deal?”
Going through life as a half-hearted Christian robs us of our ability to have the close relationship that God desires.
Instead of looking around at the sins of others, examine your heart today. Are you trying to appear perfect, or are you showing others you are forgiven?
No matter what may be going on in the world around us and no matter what may come upon our lives, God is an expert in providing peace and safety.
Whether we are facing life’s lions, bears, or giants, our preparation list only needs to consist of one thing: God.
