For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. — Romans 8:38-39

There are many things and discussions in life that revolve around being convinced. For example, you can simply turn on the news and hear a politician say many things in an attempt to convince you they are telling the truth. But most of us would agree politics is driven by agendas and desires.

It’s more than just politics, however. People across the world will talk and tell you things. The ultimate goal of many is to convince you that they are telling you the truth. But are they? It’s a challenge at times to tell if someone is telling you the truth.

But there are certain things in life we can be convinced of. To be convinced is to not have any doubt. In other words, there is nothing that could possibly happen that would change your perception or understanding. The love of God should be one thing that we are all convinced of.

Here in Romans, we are reminded that there is nothing that could separate us from the love of God. There is nothing that Satan can do and nothing this world can do. Above anything, God loves us and nothing will stop that love from its existence.

But are you convinced of that? So many times we find ourselves dwelling on our faults and failures. We find ourselves dwelling on our past, asking how could God love us. But He does! No matter what you have done, He still loves you and He still cares about you. He doesn’t doubt His love for you and proves it daily. So why do we sometimes doubt His love?

Across the world, Christians need the encouragement and strength that only God’s word can provide. We are focused on helping Christians find encouragement, develop stronger relationships with God, and help non-Christians accept Jesus Christ as Savior. Another Well Ministries is a non-profit ministry that relies on donations to continue its work. You can find out more about us and ways to support us here.
