Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ’s gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord. — 2 Corinthians 2:12

As I walked down the long hallway in front of me, I saw someone just ahead. It looked as though the person was going in the same direction as me. I didn’t recognize the person. It is not uncommon where I was. There are a lot of people who travel in and out of this building.

As I continued to get closer to the entrance of the office I was going to, I noticed that he had slowed down just ahead of me and was looking at the choices of where to go. Multiple doors were there, and it was clear he wasn’t sure which one to enter. Trying to help, I asked him where he was going so I could try to help.

As he shared the office he was looking for, I realized we were right in front of it. I reached out, grabbed the handle, and opened the door. He looked at me, somewhat puzzled, to which I explained that I was here frequently and that if he went through this door, he would find what he was looking for.

Many times in our lives, we are faced with several choices or “doors.” Each one leads to a different path, different options, or different circumstances in life. But how do we know which door to choose?  Thankfully, God will guide us to the right doors, opening them in front of us.

Do you find yourself facing a choice between the many doors of life? Do you need God to help you find the right door, giving you the opportunity to follow Him or do good? Instead of just taking the first door you see, wait for God to open the right door. He will never lead you in the wrong path!

Across the world, there are Christians who need encouragement and strength that only God’s word can provide. We are focused on helping Christians find encouragement, develop stronger relationships with God, and help non-Christians come to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. Another Well Ministries is a non-profit ministry that relies on donations to continue our work. You can find out more about us and ways to support us here.
