There are some people in life that we can all probably say that we have been blessed to know. On many occasions, my path in life has crossed with someone else who left their mark. For example, a former leader that I had in one of my first jobs was a big influence. He helped shape me into being more than just a worker, but truly being a leader.
I still remember one elder Christian who attended the same church I attended years ago. To this day, I recall many things that he told me and much of the advice that he gave. I recall many of the church leaders who taught classes I attended, or served God in a variety of ways that shaped my life.
I can say that I was blessed to know many of these people. My life was influenced, changed, and blessed to have them be a part of it in various ways. But even with all that influence, none of them have blessed or influenced my life the way that trusting in God has!
For the Christian, it truly is a blessing to trust in God. Every aspect of our lives is touched by our faith in Him. Our overall life, our families, and our friendships are all shaped by our faith and trust in God. The influence may not always be the way that we would select ourselves, but it is as God would design according to His will.
There is not one situation that we can look back on and say that trusting God messed up our lives. God has blessed each of us far more than we deserve. Truly we are blessed to trust in God!
