Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. — Psalm 100:1

Recently, I was in a room filled with a few hundred people for an event. One of the people that I was with was taking me around the event and introducing me to people who were there. There were politicians, key executives of the organization having the event, and then those who would be working in this location. It was a celebration of a grand opening and I continually heard the statement about how it was worth celebrating.

Those attending the event were excited. The event was long overdue by their comments. They were excited about how beautiful things were and what they would do in the new location. As the event continued, they commented, celebrated, and were excited about what was taking place. Everyone there who had some type of attachment to this location was excited and celebrating.

As I left the event, I kept thinking about how amazing it was to see those who were aligned and enjoying the celebration. I thought back about this verse from Psalm 100. The psalmist does not say that only one was to celebrate and make a joyful noise. Instead, he says that all have a reason to make a joyful noise.

If we are honest, we all have a reason to make a joyful noise in worship and praise to God today. Every day, God blesses us beyond what we deserve. He gives us mercy and grace each day for all that we face. We all have reasons to make a joyful noise!

Today, think about those reasons. Think about all the things that God has done for you. Reflect on His mercy, grace, and goodness in your life. We don’t have a reason to be silent. We all should lift our voice in praise to Him!
