For we walk by faith, not by sight. — 2 Corinthians 5:7

There are a lot of things in life that we blindly trust. Whatever form of transportation we use, we trust that the method was built stable enough to get us where we need to go. We trust that the brakes will stop when we need to stop. If we cross a bridge, we have faith in the construction of that bridge that it will support us as we travel over.

I don’t walk outside in the mornings and check the brakes in my car because I have faith in those who built the car. Just like I don’t stop at every bridge that I cross to inspect the work of the engineers who designed it. We all have faith in the work that they did. They are professionals and experts in their field.

But often we find ourselves doubting that God can intervene in a situation. We face uncertainty and circumstances in life and immediately seem to lose faith. Perhaps we say that we believe in God, but are we truly believing in His ability? You don’t have to look far to see what God can do.

We have the greatest book ever written before us with countless examples of God’s faithfulness. Time and again, He provided a way and delivered in the challenges and difficulties of life. In sickness, death, personal struggles, and more, God was faithful every time. Yet, it seems like some believe God has lost some of His ability.

The ability of God has not changed. God can still do miracles and work in ways we could never imagine in our current day. Instead of worrying over everything, let faith take over! The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised the dead, healed the sick, and provided comfort in days past, can work in your situation for you today.
