There are very few things that last in our world anymore. I often hear people say “they don’t make them like they used to.” That’s very true.
Nearly everything that we use in life is made to be disposable. Essentially, you use it when you need it and then throw it away. If it lasts for more than a few weeks, you should be thankful.
That is not the case with the things of God, however. From the very beginning, everything relating to God was founded on truth. His word, His actions, and His plan were all founded on truth. The origin is truth, the nature is truth, everything is founded on truth.
More than just truth, it endures forever. The righteous judgments as mentioned in Psalm relate to all the things based on truth. They are all eternal and will never change.
So while many things in life that may change or will not last, we can rest assured that God and everything about Him never changes. No matter how many times we need Him, He will always be there and will always be the same.
