I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. — John 10:14
If you ask a lot of people if they know me, most will tell you that they do not. I am far from the most popular person in this world. In fact, if you search for my name online, you will quickly see there are many people that share the exact same name.
So if you were to ask someone if they knew me, you would have to go even further and specify which one. If you were to ask someone in my hometown, they may say they know of me. Perhaps they have heard of my family or know of my family.
That changes if you ask my dad or my mom about me. They can tell you who I am, where I live, and many personal details of my life. Ask my wife about me and she will tell you even more details, as would my son.
The point is that no one knows you like family, and the same is true of God. While you may feel insignificant or unknown in this world, He knows every single detail of your life. He knows where you live, what is going on in your life, and all the details about the challenges you face. There is nothing that He doesn’t know about you!
Whatever is happening in your life today, God knows. Rather than worrying and stressing about it, talk to Him about it. Let Him be your Shepherd and bring you comfort right where you are.
