There are many things in life that have been revolutionized by social media. For example, I remember when I was much younger and how I believed that I was perhaps the only Jared Dyson in the world. With social media, I quickly learned that was not the case. There are more than a dozen others out there with the same name as mine.
I also believed that I had a lot of unique traits in how I look. After all, we know that everyone is made differently, with different characteristics, preferences, and more. But someone quickly pointed out someone that had a similar appearance to me. Many features were the same, and to be honest, I was quite surprised.
While we may share the same name and similar features with others in this world, we can all be assured that there is no one like our God. Best of all, there is no one close! He is unique, a great and mighty God, and loves us like no one else could love us.
While the world would like to replace Him, they can’t. While Satan would like to minimize Him and defeat Him, he can’t! As is written in this verse, we have heard the stories of God and experienced God in our own lives. There is no one close to Him!
Today, rejoice in the uniqueness of our God. There are no other gods. He alone is God. There is no one close! Praise Him for His goodness in your life today. He has been and continues to be a wonderful and mighty God. Nothing else comes close to Him!
