I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. — John 10:9

Several weeks ago, my family and I went to an event at a local attraction where they had decorated for Christmas. It is one of our favorite places to visit, especially at this time of year. They decorate so beautifully for Christmas. My son always gets excited to see the wonderful decorations.

Tickets are normally required to enter the attraction, but for this special event, you must have a specific time to enter. Once your time to enter arrives, you can enter and see all the beautiful decorations they have placed inside. It’s a guaranteed entry. One that you do not have to worry about the crowds preventing you from entering.

There are not a lot of places where we are always guaranteed entry. I always feel welcome at my home, my parent’s home, or even my wife’s family’s home. But I wouldn’t be guaranteed entry at the White House. I probably couldn’t even get into the Governor’s house if I were to show up there.

We all have the promise of guaranteed entry into heaven if we go through the door. Jesus shares that He is the door. He promises that no matter who wants to enter, they can enter if they go through Him. The invitation is open to all!

Have you entered that door where you know you will have guaranteed entry into heaven? Have you shared the invitation with others so that they can enter too? It’s an open, guaranteed entry to those who are willing to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. If you have never accepted Him, today would be a great day. If you have, today is a great day to share the open invitation with someone!

Across the world, there are Christians who need encouragement and strength that only God’s word can provide. We are focused on helping Christians find encouragement, develop stronger relationships with God, and help non-Christians come to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. Another Well Ministries is a non-profit ministry that relies on donations to continue our work. You can find out more about us and ways to support us here.
